Kenny Zhou

Player #34

Kenny shows the perfect balance of leader and follower.  He has lots of experience, and picks things up quickly.  He can often be found on the sideline walking someone through a play, or explaining some crucial detail during downtime.  However, he also listens intently to the team’s strategy and knows when it’s time to share, and when it’s time to listen.  Players may not notice this as much, but from a captain’s position it’s a fantastic skill to have.

He’s also a good singer.  Someone take this man to Karaoke.

What Kenny’s teammates say:
Kenny, kenny…kenny. Kenny walks to the disc like Dwayne Johnson enters the ring. His calmness and confidence soothes even the nerves of the most fragile of cutters. Did you just start running the wrong play? Nervous eye contact with Kenny reassures you that no, you did not. Everything is OK. You could never do anything wrong. You are exactly where you should be…and the disc is coming.

Kenny is also an encyclopedia of ultimate knowledge. He has a Dwayne Johnson-esque natural leadership, and a rare ability to constructively communicate feedback that makes you feel real good and want to keep asking questions. <3!!

“So committed to #prius he went and bought a Prius AFTER it became a Zen hashtag!!”

“He has a great haircut, and I heard he paid a totally reasonable price. I really respect that.”
