Jonathan Brunetti

Player #25

Athletic, fast, strong, focused and determined are some of the adjectives you could use to describe Jonathan Brunetti. These are not his only gifts though; Bru also brings a great work ethic to practice and will always be on the field ready to play another point when called upon. I guess you could add another adjective to his resume – reliable.

What Bru’s Teammates Say:
Bru is phenomenal at assessing developing plays. He places himself in the most threatening areas while being able the contest the lower priority spaces. He isn’t a flashy player. He cuts hard and attacks the disc, making calm and calculated decisions. His positioning alone makes him a threat every throw but he isn’t afraid to layout for a grab or a D if the disc is just out of reach. As a teammate, he takes your development as seriously as he takes his own, with honesty and accountability. On the flip side, he also isn’t shy about letting you know when you’ve done something well and you’ve shown progress. He is low-key your biggest critic and your biggest fan.

“You can always learn something from watching Bru on the field.”

“At one tournament, our captain actually went over to the other team to help them strategize how to break down Bru’s defense.”

“He’s also a secret softie, getting to know people on a personal level and supporting them when he can see they need it.”
