Year 7: Rebirth

2010 was the mark of a new era in Zen. With a new jersey concept and two new captains (Nat Wong & Norman Lew) along with returning captain Chris Loat, Zen was looking to build a strong athletic team to make a bid for nationals. With 8 people new to touring and 4 moving up from MMV, 2010 was going to have challenges. This clearly seen early on, as the team only won one game at their first tournament, TUF. With each successive tournament Zen won one more game than the previous tournament. Unfortunately the timing of regionals didn’t give Zen enough time to develop as a team and they fell short of Nationals.  By the end of the season, Zen was finishing top three at tournaments. This created a strong buzz and an excitement leading into 2011.
